Lancaster, PA — Cargas, provider of Cargas Energy software, recently announced they have entered into a partnership in the Rackspace Hosting Partner Network, a service leader in cloud computing.
Cargas offers Rackspace hosting and cloud solutions to the energy industry as an alternative to installing Cargas Energy on servers at the customers’ sites. Companies with limited information technology resources and hardware infrastructures benefit from this maintenance free and scalable option, utilizing software as a service within a subscription-based model.
“Cargas Energy has always been able to be deployed on servers at our customers’ sites or in a hosted model. As momentum builds around the evaluation and adoption of hosting and cloud deployments, we continue to expand our offerings and provide flexible options to customers,” said Nate Scott, Vice President of Cargas. “Rackspace is one of the most reputable partners out there to offer managed and cloud hosting solutions. When businesses are keeping an eye on efficiency, hosting can have a noticeably positive impact in terms of ROI and limits capital spend.”
“We are confident that our hosting solutions will compliment Cargas in the markets they serve,” said Christopher Rajiah, Rackspace. “We look for synergistic relationships with industry leaders like Cargas that enable us to add greater value to our customer base and sustain our ongoing commitment to Fanatical Support.”
