DALLAS, TX —With energy costs and outdoor temperatures rising, Lennox is expanding its T-Class™ large split systems line to help commercial customers lower expenses and increase profitability this summer. Effective April 1, 2009, the T-Class line is available in capacities from 6 to 20 tons. Designed to work together to provide higher performance and energy efficiency, the T-Class line features TSA condensing units, TPA condensing heat pumps and TAA air handlers to provide reliable, supplemental cooling and heating for a wide range of buildings. Every system in the T-Class line uses R-410A to eliminate concerns over the rising cost of R-22 refrigerant for set up and servicing.
Lennox Builds In Features Contractors Want, Businesses Need
Before developing the T-Class line of large split system products, Lennox interviewed HVAC contractors and business owners to identify their needs and the challenges they face in today’s market. Using that feedback, Lennox engineers developed split system units that offer industry-leading features for installation and maintenance, as well as a range of options, including:
- Flexible designs for horizontal or vertical installation
- Slide-out blower motors and four-side access on indoor units for fast, convenient servicing
- Compact indoor units that are 30” wide or less to fit through standard 32” doorways
- Factory-installed, high-static drive options for flexibility with applications and duct designs
- Fully assembled units with a variety of field- and factory-installed options available, including 5” MERV 10/16 filtration; UVC lights; economizers; electric heat; hot water coil heating; coil guards; hail guards and return air grilles
In addition, the T-Class line features longer-life, auto-tension belt drives and removable, easy-to-clean plastic drain pans that resist corrosion. The entire T-Class large split systems line is available for shipping now. For more information about T-Class split systems, please contact Lennox at 1-800-9-LENNOX or visit www.lennox.com.
