Mark Scharenbroich, a motivational speaker, humorist and author, will serve as keynote speaker for the 2012 Kick-Off Breakfast at the PEI Convention, October 8. The PEI Convention will take place Oct. 7-10, 2012, in Las Vegas, Nev., at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
Scharenbroich has a degree in mass communications from St. Cloud State University in Minnesota. During his time there, he wrote, directed and performed in a comedy troupe called "Mom’s Apple Pie” which performed throughout the Midwest in the ’70s. Scharenbroich later combined his comedy training with motivational speaking to form a communications company, Scharenbroich & Associates, Inc., and is a noted expert in the area of leadership and engagement.
Scharenbroich’s new book, Nice Bike: Making Meaningful Connections on the Road of Life shares powerful stories based on the three actions steps of acknowledging, honoring and connecting.
The Kick-off Breakfast will be held Sunday, October 8 at 7:30 a.m. at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Tickets for the Kick-off Breakfast can be purchased on the PEI website, www.pei.org/show, or by calling PEI at (918) 494-9696.
Early PEI Convention registration, which includes admission to all educational sessions, the Trade Show, which will be held October 8-10, the PEI Industry Reception and NACS Welcome Reception, is $295 for PEI and NACS members and $495 for all other attendees. This Early Bird rate is only available through July 31. A daily rate also is available. For companies registering five or more attendees (spouses qualify) for full registration, PEI offers additional discounts.
